7 Best YouTube Niches in 2026 with Proofs

I’ve been studying faceless YouTube channels for the past 5 years, and what I just discovered will completely change the way you think about YouTube in 2026.

Most creators are still fighting over the same oversaturated niches: sports, motivation, and AI tutorials. Meanwhile, a handful of people are quietly profiting from completely different niches that almost nobody is thinking about.

After analyzing more than 500 faceless channels, I found something that might surprise you. Over 80% of the top performers share one thing in common. They’re all in very specific niches that most people don’t even know exist.

So, if you’re ready to stop guessing and start building something that actually works, here are the seven YouTube niches you should try in 2026.

Table of content

Table of Contents

Niche Number One: The Monkey Business

A niche that most people overlook because they think it’s expensive, hard, or just too out there with channels like Prime Economics, Monkey Explain, and Apes Static.

7 Best YouTube Niches in 2026 with Proof

Channel Analysis

Monkey Explains

– This is probably my favorite one. The reason why I think this is so good is because they’ve taken rather intellectual topics—topics that not everybody is curious about—and they’ve made them more mass market by adding the monkey thing.

– Monthly earnings: between $10,000 and $29,000 (AdSense revenue alone).

– If we factor in the AdSense revenue, the membership, and the brand deals, this is a $40 to $50,000 per month channel right here.

Private Economics

– Unfortunately, for some reason, they’re not posting as much. They’re really only posting once a month.

– They probably have a different production setup where the quality on Monkey Explained seems to be a little bit better.

– Estimated monthly earnings: currently only $3 to $8,000.

– This might be an opportunity right here. You may take what they’re doing and just make it better.

Apesthetic

– They are basically combining the monkey business, as I like to call it, with Fitness.

– Even their banner says “Subscribe to Catch Arnold.”

– Their upload frequency is just not good. They posted 2 weeks ago, 1 month ago.

– When they post, they’re getting:

    – A million views

– It just looks like it’s a volume issue. They only have 13 videos.

– If I had a channel like this, I would definitely find a way to take all the money that I’m making and crank it and reinvest it.

Why This Works

These channels combine two worlds:

– A high-level channel where you have a brand and you build a personality

– But it’s still faceless, which allows you to build a huge production around it and pump out a bunch of content

The Truth About Production

Most people see these channels and think there’s no way I could make these videos. The animations might cost a fortune, and you probably need a degree of something. But here’s the truth: **With AI, it’s more affordable than ever.**

– Scripts can be written with Claw or Poppy AI

– Voiceovers can be done with 11 Labs

– Even the graphics and the animations are now within reach for most people

Important Reality Check

But don’t get it twisted. These channels didn’t just pop up and go viral overnight.

– The people behind them most likely have experience with faceless channels.

– They know what works and they play the long-term game.

– If you’re expecting to upload a few videos and blow up instantly, you will be disappointed. Even though that’s how it looks they did.

The secret here though is **patience and quality**. If you’re willing to outwork and outlast, you can absolutely succeed even in a niche like this.

There’s a link in the description, so check it out.

Niche Number Two: Money and Luxury

Now, let’s move to a niche that’s been dominated by one channel for years, but in my opinion, still has massive potential.

Channel Analysis: Alux

For years, Alux has been the king of this space. Most people look at this channel and saying, “They’re too big. There’s no way I could compete with such a channel.”

I mean, this channel is sprinting. And by now, this is definitely more than just a faceless YouTube channel. I think the owner or the ownership team, they probably do this full-time because they make a bunch of money from it.

Posting Frequency

– Posted 15 hours ago, 3 days ago, 5 days ago, 7 days ago

– They’re posting like 3 to 4 times a week

Revenue Estimates

– Estimated monthly earnings: $10,000 to $31,000 for 2 million views

– I would say this is at least $25 to $40,000 because of the topics

– That is probably their lowest income source because with 5 million subscribers I’m sure they can easily charge $5,000 per brand deal

– I don’t see a reason why they wouldn’t have a brand deal on every single video. So this instantly doubles their income.

Consistency Track Record

– They have thousands of videos. Almost 3,000 videos.

– They’ve been making content for 11 years now.

– I cannot name one thing that I’ve been doing business-wise for 11 years. Consistency is definitely in the name of the game.

The Opportunity

Here’s what most people miss:

– Audiences want variety.

– They want new voices, new perspectives, and new stories.

The only reason more people haven’t succeeded in this niche is because they give up too soon.

Key Points to Remember

– This is not a one or two month overnight success.

– It might take three, four, or even 6 months to crack it.

– But you can absolutely build a successful money or luxury channel.

– It’s not about being first. It’s about being persistent and offering something different.

And once you do, the earning potential is huge.

Niche Number Three: The Nostalgia Niche

Next, let’s talk about a niche that’s quietly printing money for our community, but almost nobody else talks about. I like to call this the nostalgia niche.

This is one of the most overlooked and profitable niches out there.

Community Statistics

In our community, I would probably say that nostalgia channels alone account for 5 to 10% of our 120 million monthly views, which is insane.

And most people outside don’t even know this niche exists until now. Of course, they think it’s just vintage America or vintage UK, but those niches are already crowded.

The Real Opportunity

– Finding your own sub-niche

– Something that people romanticize about from the past that hasn’t been done a thousand times already

Case Study: Vintage Vehicles

I’ve seen it firsthand. My own channel, Vintage Vehicles, made $200,000 in 12 months.

Top Performing Video Analysis

– Title: “20 Car Innovations That Did Not Stand the Test of Time”

– Subscribers gained: 4,000 (doesn’t sound like a huge number)

– Revenue from this one video: $19,167.15

– Production cost: Approximately $90 to $100 (outsourcing everything)

– Return on investment: Almost $20,000

Audience Demographics (Why RPM is High)

– RPM (how much money we’re getting paid per 1,000 views): “$13” (insanely high)

– Gender: 90% male

– Location:

    – United States: 66%

    – Canada: 6.8%

    – Total North America: Approximately 75%

– Age: 65+ (46%)

A combination of all of those things and the topic just yields in making more money than average for a channel.

Case Study: America Grows

More recently, I worked on this channel right here called America Grows with a partner—a gardening nostalgia channel that’s done over $40,000 in revenue in just a couple of months.

Performance Data

– First 30 days of being monetized (September 1st to November 30th): **$33,000**

– Lifetime revenue since then: Over **$41,000**

– Most popular video: 1.4 million views, **$14,000** in revenue

Key Takeaway

When I say that you guys are one video away, this is what I’m talking about.

Imagine starting a channel:

– You post a couple of videos

– You pay $100 to get one made

– Then one of them, just one of them, makes $14,000

How crazy is that?

The secret is to **niche down** and find the next thing people will be nostalgic about. If you do, you can build a channel that lasts for years.

And by the way, I would love to help you do it. If you want to work directly with me on building your own faceless YouTube channel to $5,000 to $10,000 per month, there’s a link in the description, so check it out.

Niche Number Four: Biographies

Now, let’s shift gears a little bit and look at a niche that I like to say it’s a hidden gem. Biographies.

Channels like Biography have been around forever, but new players like Vegas Legends are proving there’s still room for growth.

Channel Analysis: Biography

I’m sure none of you have seen this channel before, despite the fact that:

– They have 1.1 million subscribers

– They’ve posted over 1,600 videos

I’ve known about it for quite some time, but recently looked at it and realized how good of a format they have right here.

The Evergreen Power

– They haven’t posted in a year. One year ago, one year ago.

– Even then they posted probably like five videos in a year.

– Two years ago, etc.

– But if you look at oldest, they’ve been posting this type of content for a very long time—like **16 years**.

Current Performance (Without Posting for a Year)

– Still getting over 2.8 million views (evergreen views that are recurring from old videos)

– Imagine having a channel where you don’t post for one year and you still get 2.8 million views.

– Estimates: $13,000 on the higher side. I think it could be even more.

Missed Opportunity

– They would make so much more money today if they would start posting again.

– Add some brand deals.

– Maybe start a membership and post some exclusive biographies.

– Massive, massive potential.

Channel Analysis: Vegas Legends

And that’s probably what inspired the owner of this channel called Vegas Legends to start.

– They sub-niched, which I’m personally a huge fan of.

– Started making the same type of content: documentaries, 20 to 30 minutes long.

– But only about Las Vegas.

Important Considerations

The reason I said that this niche is a bit of a hidden gem is because it’s not for everyone.

What You Need

– Patience

– Great research

– Willingness to tell stories about people who you definitely don’t know and might not even be alive anymore

Realistic Expectations

– You’re not going to get millions of views overnight.

– But you can build a loyal audience over time.

– If you’re willing to stick with it, you’re going to capitalize on the fan bases of legendary figures.

– It’s going to take time. It’s a slow burn.

– But the long-term potential is huge, especially as more people are looking for more in-depth documentary style content.

Niche Number Five: Food

So, if this niche might not be for everybody, let’s move to the next one, which I bet most of you would like to start: the food niche.

There are some big channels out there like Mashed and Weird History Food. And let me show you these channels because they are one of my favorites and I just don’t understand why not more people go in this direction.

Channel Analysis: Mashed

This is not my favorite. The second one is my favorite. So, wait.

Channel Stats

– Almost 5,000 videos (I’m sure a large portion of that is shorts though, so do not panic)

– Almost 1.4 million subscribers

– They’ve been posting for 8 years now

Evolution of the Channel

– They started with very basic videos. This is kind of just a testament of how much YouTube has changed in the meantime.

– They used to get hundreds of thousands and millions of views with some of those videos with very basic, very simple thumbnails, very short.

– But recently, they’ve definitely upped their production quality.

– Their thumbnails look very good.

– They’re posting every day: 8 days ago, 7 days ago, 6 days ago—which is crazy.

Current Performance

– Getting 2.1 million views a month

– Estimated earnings: $11,000

Channel Analysis: Weird History Food

And to drive this home, let’s talk about Weird History Food because I know a little bit more about this channel. I’ve been looking at acquiring it for quite some time, but with no luck so far.

What Makes It Great

– Weird History Food has a bunch of different formats, a bunch of different topics.

– Just look at the quality of the videos.

– Who wouldn’t want a channel that makes money, that prints money, and talks about food and different supermarket brands and different fast food brands? It’s just amazing.

– Their content is very good. The video production is very good.

Channel Stats

– 428 videos

– They’ve been around for 3 years (compared to Mashed’s 8 years)

– Estimated earnings: $12,000 (I’m sure they make more from the videos themselves as well)

The Opportunity with AI

But now with AI, I think this is more replicable than before.

– It’s more accessible.

– It’s faster to make content like this than before.

I’ve been doing faceless YouTube channels for 5 years. So, doing something like this, especially if you plan for the long term, is definitely possible.

And I think you can do it in faster than 3 years now. I think you can get 740,000 subscribers faster than you could do it before because of all the technology and all the AI and all the resources and the knowledge that we have available that they didn’t when they started.

They did the hard work. They kind of set the standard and they’re crushing it right now. They do a really, really good job here.

What You Actually Need

Looking at these two channels, most people think you need a big media company to pull this off, but that’s not true, especially with AI.

And you don’t need to be a chef or a historian. Just someone who’s willing to:

– Research using AI

– Script and present food stories in a unique way

– Or what I like to do: hire people to do it for you for just $50 to $100 per video (like we’ve done for the past 5 years)

Niche Number Six: Celebrities (Character-Driven)

7 Best YouTube Niches in 2026 with Proof

Next, let’s dial up the sexiness of these niches. And I think this one is as sexy as it gets.

Next niche: **celebrities**. But not just celebrities. Character-driven celebrity channels like Anna Whoop and Tell Us More, which I think are the opposite of boring niches.

They are:

– Fast-paced

– Trend-driven

– Can go viral overnight

Channel Analysis: Tell Us More

– 87 videos

– 200,000 subscribers

– Started three years ago

– They were pretty consistent with the format and they’ve evolved over time.

– I think because they kind of stick to one niche, one game, they’ve been able to build a brand where they’re kind of looked up to right now as a channel.

The Opportunity Gap

– But I think they’re missing a lot of money on the table.

– With these characters, you kind of have to be bold. You have to be strong with a personality in one direction.

– But it just leaves room for a bunch more personality, for a bunch more other directions and other avenues.

– Estimated earnings: Only $4,000 a month (I’m sure it’s a little bit more, but not extremely more).

Channel Analysis: Anna Whoop

I would go into something more similar to this. Anna Whoop.

I’ve seen this channel for many, many years now. Again, I even tried to model it a couple years ago, but it was just not for me. I’ll tell you about that in a second.

Channel Stats

– Posted for 6 years

– Uploading five times a week

– Estimated earnings: Upwards of $15,000 (Again, I’m sure this is a little bit more)

The Power of Character

What I think the character has done for Anna Whoop and for other channels is it has kind of ensured consistency in a niche that is not really consistent.

With these channels, you’re kind of always relying on the next big trend or the next big scandal or next big thing happening in Hollywood.

**However**, if you have a character and if you build an audience around that character, people start coming back even though nothing crazy or as crazy is happening.

And that’s exactly what Anna Whoop has done.

Network of Channels

And not to mention, I’m sure they have other channels as well. Yes, there we go. They have:

– Anna Solves

– Anna Plays

– Anna Horror Stories

– Anna Uncovered

Subscriber counts:

– Half a million subscribers

– Half a million subscribers

– Over 1.2 million subscribers

So, this is a very, very good play and a very good execution.

The Challenge

But with these types of channels also comes a big challenge.

You need to be:

– Plugged into pop culture

– Know what’s trending

– Willing to be a little bit polarizing

You cannot just recycle Twitter threads and expect to win. You need to add commentary, personality, and a unique voice to win big.

My Personal Experience (Failure Story)

In this blog/Article, I tried having a character celebrity channel about two to three years ago and he flopped. So, let me tell you why.

– I was calling it Miss Trendy.

– I kind of created this character that looks somewhat like my girlfriend back then.

– It was very hard because it was very expensive.

– We didn’t have AI.

– The videos would take very long.

– We started making some money. I think we got viral a little bit. We made $2,000 in the second month or something and it was looking promising.

Why I Realized It Wasn’t For Me

– If you want to be in this niche, if you want to make money, you just need to wake up every day and see what’s the latest news.

– What did Kim Kardashian do? What did this Hollywood celebrity do? What just happened?

– And then you need to be on it.

And even more now because we have AI and everybody can research faster than ever before. Everybody can do more in-depth research than ever before. It’s not as easy.

But If It IS For You

– If you are good at this and you personally enjoy it, you personally do that anyway.

– The upside is massive and you should totally start a channel like this.

Real-World Success Stories

Not only that, but I’ve seen students in our community:

– Make over $100,000 with the Johnny Depp Amber Heard trial.

– Make hundreds of thousands of dollars more with the Will Smith, Chris Rock Oscars moment.

So, every once in a while something like this happens and there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars to be made.

Summary: Celebrity Niche Reality

But this is **not a passive niche**. You need to be:

– Active

– Fast

– Willing to take risks on the next blog

Niche Number Seven: Geography

If that’s not you, don’t worry. Let’s look at a niche that’s nerdy but surprisingly profitable.

On the flip side, I’m talking about **geography**.

Kind of nerdy niche, and most people aren’t passionate or excited about it. But that’s exactly why it works and why I personally like it as well.

There are plenty of successful channels making serious money here.

Channel Analysis: Map Pack

The first one is called Map Pack.

Channel Stats

– 207 videos

– Started about 2 years ago

– Currently getting **4.6 million views** (This is insane)

Revenue Estimates

– Estimated monthly earnings: between **$23,000 and $68,000**

– This is AdSense revenue alone. No brand deals, no affiliate, no sponsorships. Just AdSense revenue alone.

– They’re posting three times a week for the documentaries and the style that they make, which is quite high.

– I’m sure they’re spending a couple thousand to produce those videos.

– But still, they’re making $68,000 per month in AdSense revenue alone. This is definitely worth it.

Channel Analysis: Geography by Geoff

Right now, wait, it gets even crazier. If you take this and if you combine it with what we talked earlier—if you kind of add a character, if you add a personality to it—you get something that looks like this. Geography by Geoff.

I’m sure Geoff is probably a real person and he might be passionate about geography or he has a degree. You could see his own video in some of them as well.

Channel Stats

– Gets **8.9 almost 9 million views** every single month

– Estimated earnings: only $46,000 (But I’m sure it’s higher than what Map Pack does)

– Upload frequency: Two to three times a week (a little bit less)

– He does show his face.

The Personality Advantage

– Adding the personality makes them much more viable for brands.

– More advertisers are willing to pay, and not only pay but pay more for channel likeness.

So again, if you want to take it to the next level, just know that boring niches like this one—geography—can make you a bunch of money.

Channel Analysis: Urban Atlas

And if you’re not certain yet, let me show you one final channel here called Urban Atlas.

Channel Stats

– 127 videos

– Only 70,000 subscribers

– Started one year ago

Everybody can do this.

Quality Assessment

– Look at their quality. Look at their thumbnails.

– They’re definitely not as good compared to Map Pack, compared to Geography by Geoff.

– They’re only posting one to two times a week-ish.

Despite All That

– They’re still getting 1.1, 1.2, 2 million views a month.

– Estimated monthly earnings: **$16,000**

Key Takeaway for Geography Niche

So, you don’t need to:

– Have crazy production

– Be passionate about geography

– Show your face on camera like Geoff does

And you can still find a boring niche like this with not the best quality, post a little bit, and make a bunch of money.

The Winning Formula

– The key here is not just to copy Map Pack or Urban Atlas.

– Understand the format, the thinking, and the patterns behind their videos.

– Then if you do your own research and bring something slightly new, a slightly unique angle, you can build a real moat.

AI Advantage

– With AI, the barrier to entry is lower than ever.

– You don’t need to be a geography expert or a professor.

– You just need to be willing to learn, research, and present information in a way that’s engaging and unique for the right audience.

Why This Works

– Because these people know a lot about geography. You cannot just fumble around.

– It’s a little bit boring, which means not a lot of people are willing to start.

– But if you do, you can carve out a profitable space.

Conclusion

So, those are the seven faceless YouTube niches I believe are worth trying in 2026 if you want to make money while also having fun.

Now, if you want to work with me directly to help you do just that, scale your faceless YouTube channel, click the link in the description and let’s talk.
